Crispy Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Yield: 4 pork chops
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops, about 1 inch thick
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Place the flour in one shallow bowl. Beat the eggs in a second bowl. In a third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Coat each pork chop in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip it into the beaten eggs, then press it firmly into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Carefully place the breaded pork chops in the skillet. Cook for 4–5 minutes on the first side, without moving them too much, until the crust is golden and crisp.
  6. Turn the pork chops and cook for another 4–5 minutes, until the second side is golden and the pork is cooked through.
  7. Transfer the pork chops to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Final Thoughts

Crispy Parmesan crusted pork chops are an easy way to turn a simple cut of pork into a golden, crunchy dinner. The Parmesan and panko coating adds plenty of texture while the pork stays tender inside.
